Qualifications
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) • Certified Personal Trainer
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) • Certified Personal Trainer
- American Council on Exercise (ACE) • Personal Trainer Certification
- National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) • Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified Strength and Conditional Specialist (CSCS)
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Participates in continuing education program

Key Responsibilities
- Design safe and effective programs.
- Guides members through initial and progressive sessions.
- Ensure proper, up-to-date, and safe procedures are used during instruction.
- Inspects all apparatus and areas for cleanliness and safety.
- Performs light custodial duties such as wipes down equipment before/after use.
- Enforces all rules and regulations politely and professionally.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Schedules ongoing training sessions with members and maximizes personal book of business.
- Works closely with Fitness Management
Education Level:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Personal Training experience minimum 2 years.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends & holidays as needed to support the business.
Compensation:
$ 13/h + $30/h commission
