Personal Injury Legal Assistant

The Law Offices of Barbra M. Rodriguez is currently seeking to hire a Bilingual Personal Injury Legal Assistant to become a part of our team!

We are looking for a strong self-starter, reliable member to join our team with focus on organization, productivity and outstanding customer service. In-person client contact is kept to a minimum and if needed all guests are required to and are supplied with masks.

Pay will be based on Experience. We are located in Glendale, CA 91203.

Job ​Qualifications:

• Must be fully Spanish bi-lingual and possess good communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Strong 2+ years experience handling pre-litigation Personal Injury cases from intake to settlement; which includes but is not limited to managing the property damage portion of the claim, clearing liability, taking recorded statements, managing medical care for client, collecting all medical evidence; preparing final demand and initiating settlement.
• Moderate Litigation Experience
• Previous experience handling claims A-Z
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Excellent Customer service

Job Duties:

• You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs
• Open claims with insurance companies
• Assist in setting up and managing medical appointments
• Investigate facts to clear liability
• Manage and settle property damage claims
• Report and manage 3rd party liens such as medi-cal, medi-care, Kaiser, etc.
• Request, obtain and review medical records and billings
• Prepare demands
• Prepare Small Claims Actions
• Prepare Minors Compromise Petitions
