Duties:
- Provide Personal Care assistance to patients in various settings, including senior care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Medication reminder as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help patients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care or patient care is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living, dementia care, behavior management, nursing home care, home care, and hospice care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients.
- Ability to follow instructions from healthcare professionals and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them.
