Responsibilities: - Assist clients with Personal Care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal planning and preparation - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Maintain documentation of client's care and progress Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures - Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Strong organizational and time management skills Skills: - Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects if required Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
