Personal Assistant / Driver

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to a physically disabled young adult
• Assist in scheduling and tracking medical appointments and provide transportation as needed (1 to 3 appointments per week)
• Must drive own car (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Take notes during medical appointments
• Assist with phone calls, paperwork, insurance submissions, computer use – e.g. making to-do lists and responding to email
• Manage calendar
• Organize physical space
• Develop procedures to streamline work
• Assist with office-related tasks such as scanning documents

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient with computers
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Kindness and sensitivity with disabled individual

Additional Notes:

• You will be an independent contractor
• Please no-smoking, no air fresheners in cars, etc (Client has sensitivity to smells)
• You must be vaccinated
• Cats are present in client’s home
• Five hour shift

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
