People Partner, Human Resources, Care Chemicals, BASF – Florham Park, NJ (Hybrid)

You will leverage your skills and education to manage and implement specific projects in partnership with the HR Head of Human Resources for EM NA, act as project manager and represent the corporate HR topics such as Culture, Talent Management, Engagement, Learning, Performance and Compensation Management for North America for Care Chemicals (EM) and partner and support the HRBP for Commercial, Functions and RDT on People Topics.

Culture, Engagement and Strategic Projects:

• Spearheading leadership initiatives such as Feedback&Forward, CORE leader values, coaching engagements, cultural surveys, DEI, etc. in partnership with internal communications and regional/global needs

• Partnering with multiple stakeholders to ensure a strong leadership, empowerment, and inclusive culture.

• Partnering with the HR Head of Human Resources on human capital strategy topics such as HR Talent Strategy Roadmap, career roadmaps and development projects.

• Participating in forums and leverage networks (internal and external) to share, exchange knowledge and create value.

Talent, Performance and Compensation Management:

• Supporting, monitoring, and developing concepts for Performance and Compensation Management in EM, ensuring global and regional alignment within Care Chemicals

• Managing and communicating the Performance and Compensation timeline for EM, owning the agenda for Performance Calibrations and Merit discussions for EM SLT.

Learning:

• Supporting, monitoring, and developing concepts for learning needs in EM at the employee and leadership levels (e.g., GB offerings, development platform)

• Coaching managers on leaning and development needs in partnership with HRBPs.

Support the HRBP for Commercial, Functions and RDT on People Topics such as:

• Partnering with HRBP to develop and integrate short and long-term strategic Human Resources initiatives to support needs.

• Data Management and Reporting.

• Act as a liaison between the EM areas and HR service platform to ensure that HR services are aligned with the needs of Care Chemicals.

• Ensure timely completion of annual HR processes and support data management and reporting needs.

• Demonstrate the ability to influence decisions on issues, learnings, and processes.

If you...

• 
  Bachelor’s degree.

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Ability to deal with many different tasks and people.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools (e.g., SAP); you will have experience with or quickly learn Visier to be able to leverage that reporting tool.

• Independently managing your work and meeting deadlines.
