Job Title:
People & Culture Engagement Manager
Pay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $109,550 to $133,895 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.

The People & Culture Engagement Manager is tasked with bringing our company Mission, Vision, and Values to all corners of every entity within our corporate umbrella. This position works collaboratively with various departments to develop and execute strategies that attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce. The People & Culture Engagement Manager develops and implements a comprehensive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging strategy aligned with the company's values and business objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the annual employee sentiment survey, including survey formatting, scheduling, aggregation of responses, and delivery of key results in association with our employee sentiment platform
  • Responsible for data analysis, interpreting results, and creating action plans in collaboration with key stakeholders upon completion of each survey round
  • Assist with the planning and strategy around the formation and launch of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), including building education and awareness about ERGs, assisting ERGs with the creation of charters, coordinating executive support/sponsorship for designated groups, and advising ERGs on budget and event planning
  • Develop experiential and educational opportunities for all organizational entities, including event planning/production, culture building activations, webinar facilitation, and various other DEIB employee resources
  • Develop strategic employee communication plans, articulating ocV!BE's Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Assist with development of a revised employee onboarding experience in collaboration with Planning & Culture and People & Culture counterparts, with the goal of creating an increased sense of belonging and career preparedness for new employees
  • Responsible for the implementation of training and educational curriculums/programs associated with the standards/practices of company objectives and organizational partners
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, implementing large scale initiatives, projects, or programs
  • Proven track record supporting the development of cross-functional projects and coordinating targets/results with multiple partners
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs on DEIB topics, ERGS
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and engaging a broad set of collaborators
  • Previous experience with Peakon preferred
  • Shown success in identifying and implementing DEIB standard methodologies and an excellent command of current DEIB concepts and issues within the industry
  • Project management experience (e.g., build work plans, establish, and lead against key landmarks and results)
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESG best practices
  • Data-driven mindset, adept at using metrics to measure and communicate progress
  • Demonstrated success as a collaborator and relationship builder, with strong communication to lead with influence, facilitate strategic sessions and build coalitions and working relationships
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Sophisticated skills in MS Office 365 - Work, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive workplace and advocating for underrepresented groups
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work non-traditional hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Spanish Language Proficiency preferred
