About Your Role:Our Peer Support Specialists work with adults ages 18 and older living in adult family homes or Assisted living facilities, with Substance Abuse struggles or Mental Health diagnoses. By using your own story and relevant personal or professional experience, you will help support and stabilize the client's placement. The insight from this relationship is extremely useful in encouraging continued participant growth and recovery, as well as providing insight to the treatment team. This role meets with clients 2-4 times per month to address their Behavior Support Plan goals. You will work as part of a team and receive supervision and support to further your professional growth.

What we're looking for:

• Washington State Certified Peer Support Specialist
  • If not certified click this link to schedule an online 40 hour pre-requisite course to become certified:
• Maintain an Agency Affiliation Counselor Certification under 18.19 RCW. (Must apply within 7 days of hire and may not work without if after 60 days of employment and annually.)
• 2 year's of professional experience as a Peer or Substance Abuse and/or Mental Health personal experience, preferred
• Valid Driver's license in good standing, and auto insurance
• Prior behavioral health experience with adults and/or case management, social services experience preferred.
