Scope of Position
The primary responsibility of the Pool Operations Supervisor is supervising and leading the Pool and Recreation team and operations. He/ she will oversee and ensure guests are provided with the highest level of quality, prompt, courteous, and efficient service. He/ she will promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and provide information about available recreation facilities and activities.
Position Requirements

- Previous experience in recreation, amusement, or entertainment, preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist guests with any issues or concerns; confirm that are resolved in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guest’s information and pertinent resort data.
- Oversee department inventory.
- Keep equipment in proper working order; report any deficiencies.
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
- Assist guests with the set-up of chairs, towels, and umbrellas.
- Assist the Food and Beverage team to take orders and deliver food.
- Move, lift, pull, and push pool furniture, upon request.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
- Maintain consistent and effective flow of communication between shifts.
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
- Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain.
Physical Requirements
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to be outdoors for long periods of time.
- Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.
- Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
