Pediatric Occupational Therapist for Private Practice in Chicago
Pediatric Therapy Solutions is a therapist-owned private occupational therapy practice. We are hiring Occupational Therapists to work in the home, daycare, and private school settings to meet the needs of our clients in their natural environment. We work with children of all ages and abilities to improve quality of life, engagement, and independence.

We have options for full autonomy or full management of the therapist's schedule and caseload to allow the therapist to determine their preferred work-life balance. Therapists are able to determine how many clients they prefer to treat and what locations to provide services. There are opportunities to treat clients throughout the city of Chicago and in the surrounding suburbs.
The position is for a contracted part time or full time Occupational Therapist. Start date, number of hours, and schedule can be determined by the therapist.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 1-2 years of pediatric therapy experience
- Have experience working with children with sensory and motor-based difficulties and varying levels of abilities
- Graduated from an (ACOTE) accredited occupational therapy program
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapy License and registered through NBCOT
- Access to car is required
- Excellent written and oral communication
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain professional liability insurance
- Respond to correspondence and complete paperwork in timely manner
- Work both independently and collaboratively
- Create and implement treatment plans
- Complete evaluations and written reports
- Create home and school-based programs for teachers and parents
- Maintain on-going communication with parents, teachers, physicians and other professionals working with the child
- Be willing to become an Early Intervention credentialed therapist
