BAMBINOS Therapy, Inc. is a pediatric therapeutic practice that brings therapy to our clients. With our unique mission, Bambinos therapists aim to provide more than just your average “in and out” therapy session. We customize a plan that promotes carryover using a child’s natural environment to master or enhance their abilities, while working 1:1 with families. We specialize in creating specialized plans integrated with the home environment, working with clients throughout the city and suburbs. Our services promote effective communication and independence throughout the day.
This is a full-time role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with an array of abilities. They will work with clients in a variety of settings, including in-home visits, daycares and schools. Additionally, they will collaborate with families and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications
- OT Licensure in the state of Illinois
- Experience working with pediatric clients if preferred
- EI certified or willingness to become EI certified
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Drivers license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
