Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients' needs and develop treatment plans
- Deliver individualized therapeutic interventions, exercises, and activities to enhance patients' abilities and promote their independence
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes
- Keep accurate and detailed records of patients' progress and report outcomes to appropriate stakeholders
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in the provision of occupational therapy services.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted occupational therapy license in the State of Illinois
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes in Chicago (area of service: Portage Park and Jefferson Park or Ukrainian Village neighborhood)
