As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a warm and professional manner. Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and address patient inquiries.
- Appointment Management: Coordinate and manage the dental appointment schedule efficiently. Confirm appointments and handle rescheduling when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining patient records. Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
- Financial Transactions: Handle patient billing and payment processing. Provide accurate information regarding treatment costs and financial arrangements.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication between patients and dental staff to optimize patient care. Relay messages and updates as needed.
- Office Maintenance: Keep the reception area tidy and organized. Monitor and replenish office supplies as necessary.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using dental software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is an advantage.
