PD Project Management Specialist - Acute Care & Monitoring
Location: Boulder, CO

A Day in the Life
  • Supports project initiatives through our internal product development and governance processes.
  • Coordinates cross-functional team members in the development and execution of the integrated project plan. Supports schedule to ensure key milestones and goals are achieved.
  • Coordinates team meetings, ensuring team collaboration and alignment.
  • Monitors project risks, and supports development of risk mitigation plans and tracking risk reduction.
  • Prepares and presents project status updates at monthly portfolio review meetings and at specified PDT stage gates. Coordinates inputs from the cross-functional team and assembles the final presentation.
  • Ensures all project deliverables are completed at the appropriate product development stage.
  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Project Management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company's products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project's key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 2+ years of engineering or Project Management experience

OR

  • An advanced degree with 0+ years of engineering or Project Management experience


Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with Medtronic.
  • Works independently; self-directed and self-aware. 
  • Able to establish trust and credibility with team; demonstrates integrity and accountability.
  • Experience working in teams comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds; including but not limited to R&D, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Clinical, Sourcing and Marketing.
  • Technically savvy; able to discuss, understand and make decisions regarding a wide array of engineering disciplines and complex technical/logistical issues.
  • Experience working on new product development initiatives, in highly regulated industries.

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations).The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience,certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
