About the SAP Internship Experience Program

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp InternProject Management - FLASH specialist

Location: Boulder, Colorado

Expected Start Date: March 2024

Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Work Hours: 20 – 30 hrs per week

 

FLASH is a global industry-focused business maturity assessment tool. The tool is primarily for business leaders and practitioners where they can evaluate their maturity against best practice and receive recommendations on how to impact business outcomes. The tool is administered by SAP’s CX Advisory organization. 

In this role, you will support the Project Management for the development and adoption of the next generations of the tool. This is a unique opportunity to explore innovative ideas for content development, promotion and other emerging digital strategies to engage audiences.
The candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, global team environment and will finish the program having gained broad experience in various aspects of business, including Project Management, product development, communications and marketing.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead project timeline development and execution with across the collaborative teams needed to deliver against that project timeline.
  • Prepare presentations for internal teams to provide updates on development, timelines, and project plans.
  • Help design and format the structure for the UX/UI of the tool, and the content needed to deliver an impactful experience for the end users.
  • Lead the content creation with internal teams developing the required content.
  • Lead the handover process to provide engineering/development teams the business requirements and content to build the tool.
  • Lead meetings with the appropriate teams to follow up on timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor the execution and delivery of all the required components throughout the development cycle.
  • Assist with the user acceptance testing process prior to final launch.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on marketing and communications to deliver against adoption goals.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on the execution of the project to ensure a successful and timely launch of the tool.

The right qualifications for the role: 

  • Experience in Project Management, product development, and content management.
  • Experience with marketing and tactics for tool adoption (both externally and internally).
  • Product management experience to build business requirements documents, UI designs, and map user experience journeys.
  • Project management experience to develop and manage to project timelines with an iterative phased approach.
  • Ability to explain complicated concepts in simple, jargon-free language to internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption of the tool.
  • Communicate requirements effectively between business teams and engineering teams.
  • Ability to think “outside the box” to come up with creative solutions to overcome challenges and development limitations.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
  • Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Experience and/or familiarity with product/software development technology to understand and communicate better with engineering teams in the development cycle.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
