We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Salix Primary Care Territory Manager for the Chandler, AZ territory region. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products.
This role is based in the East Valley area, encompassing Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, and Tempe.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategically allocate resources to drive sales results through effective selling skills and pull-thru execution.
- Develop and nurture customer relationships to leverage them for achieving sales targets.
- Utilize business analytics to understand customer data and effectively plan territory and account strategies.
- Create and implement account and territory plans to optimize sales opportunities.
- Target and access high-value accounts using available data.
- Demonstrate expertise in the product portfolio, therapeutic areas, and managed care.
- Analyze data to target healthcare professionals with high prescribing potential.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Meet or exceed established call average and sales performance expectations.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry knowledge, and competitor products.
- Understand and communicate the clinical and disease state impact on patients and providers.
- Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Attend sales training classes, meetings, and conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Pharamceutical sales experience
- Resides in or within close proximity to the assigned geography.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving history for company vehicle use.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Strong business acumen, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, tenacity, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive in a geographically large territory for extended periods.
- Ability to lift sample boxes (up to 25 pounds); reasonable accommodations can be provided.
