What you get to do every day
- Ensure sound electronic data records by adhering to company quality standards
- Take down, box and ship out of date equipment
- Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis
- Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities
- Provide support for functionality testing and end users
- Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers
- Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
- Install printers, troubleshoot problems and make repairs
- Own and complete technology implementation projects
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish PCs, laptops, monitors, server, and other computer hardware
- Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases
- Handle disassembly, boxing, movement and setup/installation on site
- Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
- 1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
- Chromebook experience desired
- Expertise in Android
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A certification in CompTIA A+ is mandatory
- An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is highly valued
- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
