Part Time Ultrasound Technician

Endocrinology office looking for Part time diagnostic sonographer with active license or appropriate accreditation in state of Michigan.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the exam room for examinations and follow proper protocols to ensure patient safety.

Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.

Perform thyroid ultrasound examinations, provide clear images, take measurements, note abnormalities, and evaluate the ultrasound results in conjunction with the attending provider.

Assist physicians during invasive procedures that use ultrasound guidance, such as biopsies.

Maintain patient records.

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members.

Keep updated with new sonographic techniques and procedures.
