Job Summary: Payroll Support Administrators assist with the roles and responsibilities related to The Company’s time collection and respective billing activity of employees working in the field and at client locations. This position works closely with the Field Support Associates and Field Support Supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support various teams and departments to ensure payroll and associated functions are processed timely and accurately.
- Drive process improvement and automation while staying up to date on all work groups and payroll guidelines.
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervisory, hold self-accountable for work, assist with workflow and prioritization to accomplish daily deadlines and support a payroll staff responsible for high volume.
- Go above what is expected to provide exceptional support and service to Clients and field employees.
- Assist with web based and manual time and attendance systems for compliance of labor hours reporting and payment.
- Aid in the processing of weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls for multi-state entities.
- Interface and communicate with employees and supervisors on payroll, budgeting, and invoice related topics in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and create reports to Clients based upon employee data (hours worked, cost centers, job completion, Overtime, hire and end dates, travel, per diem, training, etc.)
- Enter data into the database to reflect period of performance, rate, and other information of assigned employees.
- Assist with daily entries into badging and timekeeping system for client program population.
- Support Field Service Associates with time collection for multiple clients.
- Facilitates prompt time collection from internal time keeping systems and external vendor management systems.
- Assist team members and departments with data integrity assurance. This includes pay and or bill rate changes, assignment and personal information changes, and changes to client specified billing requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal departments and field employees & consultants.
- Assist managers with issue resolution and or escalation (when needed).
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Background Description:
- HS Diploma/GED required, College education/degree preferred with 1-2 years of billing or accounting background or must have good math skills and ability to work accurately with very detailed processes.
- Exhibit a high degree of flexibility to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of TRACK system – A plus but not mandatory
