About Mooring Restoration + Commercial Construction

Position
The Payroll and Support Specialist is the supportive force for the payroll, Safety, HR and fleet departments. We are currently seeking someone stellar to take the reins. The ideal professional for the role is a flexible problem solver with superb communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset. He/she should have prior experience thriving in an administrative capacity in an office environment. Multitasking and the unique ability to deftly handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position. To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily.
Essential Functions
  • Weekly and bi-weekly processing of payroll, commissions, 401K etc.
  • Data entry and Support for Safety department
  • Maintain database & spreadsheets for all Mooring assets and vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service by providing timely accurate information in response to Payroll, HR, Safety, and Fleet related inquiries and requests
  • Enter new employees into safety software in preparation for orientation
  • Maintain Safety spreadsheets and record meeting minutes of all safety committee meetings
  • Perform various administrative and general office duties
  • Maintain Employee Accountability Chart
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or minimum 3 years OJT experience
  • Previous success in Human Resources, Construction Safety, and Administration
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
