Payroll Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for clients. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Duties: - Process payroll for employees using our payroll software (e.g., Quickbooks, ADP, etc.) - Calculate and enter employee hours, wages, and deductions - Review and verify accuracy of payroll data before processing - Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll - Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to client employees - Prepare reports on payroll expenses, taxes, and deductions - Collaborate with the clients to ensure accurate employee information - Assist clients with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes - Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance - Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices Requirements: - Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role - Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices - Proficiency in using payroll software (e.g., Quickbooks, ADP, etc.) and MS Office Suite - Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail - Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles - Familiarity with HR processes and benefits administration - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and resolve issues - High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and 10-key typing If you are a dedicated professional with a strong background in payroll processing, we invite you to apply for this position. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
