Payroll Specialist

Opportunity to execute and improve the following areas:

• Accumulate payroll data from various departments and calculate hours worked, review for accuracy, and independently verify and transmit payroll data.
• Efficiently communicate with managers and resolve hour tracking and individual payroll issues.
• Review, update, and confirm employee change requests.
• Manage paid time off and leave tracking.
• Audit benefit provider premiums collected, and remittances paid.
• Develop requested reporting and general ledger input to leadership.
• Partner regularly with management and Human Resources to ensure efficient employee pay processing.

Competencies, Education, and Skills to be Successful:

• A minimum of 3 years of successful payroll experience and a minimum of a Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Suite, particularly Excel.
• Well organized with ability to prioritize.
• Highly resourceful with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
