Description:
The University of Illinois Chicago, OVCAS Business Services is seeking to fill a Payroll Specialist I position. Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for Facilities Management and other units in the OVCAS. Assist in batching, punching, and scanning of daily, weekly, and bi-weekly timecards as assigned in a timely and accurate manner. Work with other staff to determine need for payroll adjustments, complete said adjustments, and monitor their application. Comply with all Human Resources and University Payroll System policies and procedures. Prepare basic payroll and expense reports as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
