The Team and Job Summary
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join our growing Payroll team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional Payroll Specialists. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of US Payroll but will be a flexible and strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. You will process payroll for our offices around the US with the opportunity to collaborate on global payroll initiatives. This position will foster relationships and work collaboratively with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain payroll information to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Preparation and maintenance of accurate records and reporting of payroll transactions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, statutory reporting, filing requirements, and best practices.
- Support and administer end-to-end payroll for employees through ADP.
- Bespoke reporting including distribution of semi-monthly and monthly payroll reports to applicable departments.
- Monitor and analyze payroll metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Research and propose a resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing.
- Stay current on payroll trends and regulatory changes and help make recommendations for process improvements and updates.
- Exercise project management skills by conducting multiple projects in compressed timeliness while maintaining quality.
- Lead and support any ad hoc payroll projects assigned to the team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in payroll roles in a multinational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business, or Finance preferred.
- ADP experience is a must.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully working with HRIS and ERP systems (D365 experience a plus).
- Proficient with MS Excel including vlookups and pivot tables a must.
- Professional services industry experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of US payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Strong strategic thinking, able to develop and communicate a compelling vision and direction.
- Skilled at building collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Sense of urgency and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Payroll certifications are a plus.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
