Position Summary
In support of the Mission, Vision and Values of SyBridge Technologies Group of Companies, the Payroll & Human Resources Specialist role combines the responsibilities of managing payroll processes with aspects of human resources administration, making it an integral part of our organization's overall workforce management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both payroll and human resources functions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of these critical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Responsibilities:
- Process and manage the entire payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant multi-state laws and regulations.
- Calculate and process employee wages, overtime, and deductions, while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and regulations, adjusting processes accordingly to ensure compliance.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and issues from employees, providing excellent customer service and timely resolutions.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure accurate enrollment, termination, and changes.
- Educate employees on benefits offerings and provide support for benefits-related inquiries.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Generate regular reports on payroll, HR, and benefits metrics for management review.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports for compliance purposes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage new hire onboarding processes, including orientation, documentation, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the Director, HR Operations in key program and system improvements
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing queries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
- Assist in performance management processes, including performance reviews and employee development initiatives.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integration and coordination between payroll and HR functions for seamless information flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports on payroll and HR metrics for management review.
- Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and innovations in payroll and HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in both payroll and human resources roles, with a minimum of 3-5 years in each area.
- In-depth knowledge of ADP payroll system, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
