Payroll Specialist

Ducks Unlimited National Headquarters has an opening for a full-time Payroll Specialist. This position is responsible for all payroll functions, including the preparation and processing of a semi-monthly, multi-state payroll with accountability to the Human Resources department. This role reports to the H.R. Director Compensation and Benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Updates and maintains employee files in ADP
- Computes withholding and deductions associated with net pay
- Reviews timecards and time off requests for accuracy
- Enters non-exempt time and employee reimbursements each payroll
- Organizes and reviews forms associated with federal, state, and local authorities, such as W-2’s
- Prepares and files any required state, federal and regulatory forms
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years’ experience in Payroll, Accounting or Business Processes
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll system is a plus
- Familiarity with HR practices is a plus
- Expert skills in Excel
- Experience processing payroll for 750+ Employees

- Should have the ability to analyze problems and communicate them effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- High level of integrity, strong sense of confidentiality, and customer service mentality
