We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator!
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate processing of all payroll functions, accounts payable functions, and provide bookkeeping support at the direction of the CFO for the facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the accurate processing of all employee payroll-related functions:
a. Enter payroll information for all new hires, ensuring the appropriate approval signatures are on all forms.
b. Enter all employee health and welfare benefit elections and 401(K) enrollments, ensuring the accurate eligibility of employees.
c. Enter all status changes for current employees, audit benefits eligibility based on status change, and stop benefit elections as appropriate.
Process bi-weekly payroll in an accurate and timely fashion:
a. Receive time sheets from departments, audit for accuracy, and input time into the payroll system.
b. Maintain accurate records of all holiday, vacation and sick time (PTO) to determine if time off has been earned.
c. Verify payroll reports prior to the run of the bi-weekly payroll run.
d. Print bi-weekly payroll checks and audit for accuracy prior to distribution.
e. Prepare all payroll tax deposits each month.
f. Respond quickly to all payroll-related problems.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable/payroll experience with General Ledger Account and reconciliation ability, preferably in a health care setting, with a working knowledge of personal computers, outsource payroll processing payroll/accounts payable systems, Excel or any combination of education, training or experience in a business office environment preferred. Experience working in Paycom is a plus.
Additional Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
