Key Responsibilities:
-Onboarding Excellence: Assist with the onboarding process to welcome new team members and ensure a seamless transition into our organization.
- HR Support: Handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, and refer complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff for resolution.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle and job changes, ensuring that our team members' experience is top-notch.
- Record Keeping Expert: Maintain HR records meticulously, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Payroll Partner: Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure precise team member compensation, including promotions and rate changes.
- HR Expertise: Apply your knowledge of HR concepts, procedures, policies, laws, and best practices to provide high-quality HR support to team members at all levels.
- Compliance Champion: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring we're up to date with best practices.
- Workers' Compensation Wizard: Work with the HR Manager to manage workers' compensation claims, being the liaison with the workers' compensation carrier and ensuring proper documentation.
- Driver Compliance Maestro: Oversee all aspects of Driver Compliance based on company policy, which includes background checks, scheduling DOT and Drug test appointments, and managing DOT and DL renewals.

Requirements:
- 2 years of HR-related experience.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- High computer literacy with proficiency in email, Word, Excel, and related business tools.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Office workspace environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
