Family owned and operated quick service restaurant group looking for experienced Payroll Coordinator/ administrator assistant to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and hard working. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast pace environment with the desire to grow there career.
Core responsibilities include, but are limited to:
- Timely processing of approximately 20 individual corporations biweekly and weekly payroll
- Review payroll after processing and provide “Payroll Summary” to Bookkeeper
- Enter New Hires into Payroll System
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Conduct electronic employee changes and maintenance transactions in payroll
- Distribute W-2’s effectively in beginning of year
- Maintain employee files in accordance with local and federal regulations
- Assist with Accounts Payable data entries into QuickBooks on as an needed basis
- Manage office filing of employee files, vendor information, and bills
- Assist Bookkeeper and Management with other projects as requested
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a data entry or payroll processing role
- Experience in ADP, Paychecks, or other payroll software
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Position requires 5 days in the office
- Excellent people skills and can interact with managers and employees at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet weekly transmitting deadlines.
- Absolute integrity, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information.
- Excellent organization, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be able to prioritize, multitask and operate independently and on a team in a deadline driven environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
