JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Support Shuttle Driver will assist patients, visitors, and families by providing golf cart shuttle rides to and from the parking lot and the Prevea facilities. Greets people in a friendly, welcoming manner and provides a high degree of customer service and courtesy, providing facility information and way finding. Provides wheelchair assistance as needed. Works outside in all seasons. Performs all duties with extreme focus on safety and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Drives patients, visitors, and families from/to their vehicles and clinic office in golf cart. Assists patients in getting in/out of their vehicle and in/out of golf cart

Answers patient questions and provide directions on how to find their way to their destination.

Provides wheelchair assistance and transport. Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using proper body mechanics techniques.

Communicates with clinic staff and hospital staff regarding patient transport requests.

Secures golf cart on charger and notifies operations of any maintenance needs, adds curtains to golf cart during inclement weather.
