BayCare Clinic Neurological Surgeons is looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Green Bay, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from with a rotating schedule between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm and rotating 3:30pm on Fridays! No Holidays! No Weekends!

The Practice:
Our brain, spine and nerve specialists are part of the most comprehensive neurological surgery team in northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Our neurosurgeons work with a team of specialists to offer comprehensive care for conditions of the brain, spine and nerves. We take pride in being the region's longest-practicing neurological surgery team, combining more than 120 years of experience with innovative medical technology. Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay is the first certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. That certification recognizes the most advanced stroke treatment available and the stroke center's ability to provide the highest level of care for stroke patients.

The Job:
- Greets and checks in patients.
- Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
- Answers phones, takes messages, and routes calls when necessary.
- Pre-registers patients, verify insurance, co-pay and share important appointment information.
- Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Collects co-payments from patients.
- Performs general office duties.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
- A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
- Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
- Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
- Experience with EPIC is preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
