Progressive Beginnings is seeking an experienced, driven, and candid Patient Services representative to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Services representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clinic, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive and fun experience for all patients. This is a fast-paced position that requires exceptional organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and an energetic demeanor. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly attitude
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Schedule appointments and coordinate cancellations, reschedules, and additions to schedules
- Collect co-pays from patients, verify insurance information
- Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth office flow of operations
- Provide general administrative support to staff as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Patient Services representative or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent
