Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel
- Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival
- Verifying patient information and insurance coverage
- Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar
- Collecting co-pays and processing payments
- Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting or customer service role is preferred
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
