QUALIFICATIONS:- Orthodontic or dental experience a plus- Social Media experience- Spanish speaking is a plus. If you are positive, dependable, customer service oriented, articulate, enjoy working independently, multi-tasker, welcome constructive criticism, hold yourself to a high standard of performance and can anticipate team and doctor needs you may be a great fit for our practice. We want someone with a friendly and welcoming personality as the person who holds this position is the initial contact our patients have with us by phone and in person.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule/Reschedule appointments
- Answer phones-
-Verify insurance
- Contact patients on recall
- Prepare and send letters for the doctor
- Schedule doctor lunches and keep doctor calendar up to date
- Maintain a welcoming and clean reception area
- Answer patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Distribute emails to appropriate personnel
- Post to the various Social Media websites
- Balance deposit at end of day as needed
- Take payment and set up contracts as needed
- Review and explain financial accounts to billing parties as needed
- Accurately complete all necessary and appropriate clinical charting of the patient's status, visit, hygiene and next visit
- Continuously monitor patient flow.
- Make adjustments with doctor approval to keep patient flow moving and the day running on schedule
-Communicate instructions to patients clearly and effectively and provide demonstration when necessary.
-Re-stock, clean and sterilize treatment area after each visit in preparation for the next visit
-Follow all OSHA guidelines as documented in the OSHA manual
-Actively participate in marketing activities to continue promoting the health and growth of the practice.
-Be an active participant in daily huddles, staff meetings and retreats
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
