Through the merger of Thomas Jefferson University and Philadelphia University in 2017, our University includes ten colleges and four schools. Active PA pharmacist license
Clean room experience preferred, not required
Occasional, rotating holidays
Oversight of sterile compounding activities for an operation compounding approximately 10,000 doses per month (therapies include TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, immunoglobulins, pain management, and other miscellaneous items)
Compounding of any of the above mentioned therapies when needed
Diligent management of drug usage and inventory
Assist in training and certifying other staff (pharmacists, technicians, interns)
Participation in quality assurance and environmental monitoring programs
Participation on committees within the organization
