Active PA pharmacist license
Clean room experience preferred, not required
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Occasional, rotating holidays
Part-time staff pharmacist position (3 days per week) in the compounding pharmacy of Jefferson Home Infusion Service, the home infusion provider for Jefferson Health.
Job duties:
Oversight of sterile compounding activities for an operation compounding approximately 10,000 doses per month (therapies include TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, immunoglobulins, pain management, and other miscellaneous items)
Compounding of any of the above mentioned therapies when needed
Diligent management of drug usage and inventory
Assist in training and certifying other staff (pharmacists, technicians, interns)
Participation in quality assurance and environmental monitoring programs
Participation on committees within the organization
