What You’ll Do:
- Greet patients in a warm and approachable manner, creating a positive first
impression.
- Manage incoming calls, respond to phone inquiries, and handle internal/external emails.
- Respond to patient inquiries and complaints with a commitment to professionalism and empathy, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service is maintained.
- Assist clinic staff and patients in navigating registration and post-care process.
- Verify that forms and documents are accurately completed.
- Accurately enter patient medical history into the system.
- Collect patient insurance details and corresponding paperwork for billing.
- Handle the collection, maintenance, and secure transmission of patient medical records.
- Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage and potential out-of-pocket
expenses.
- Collect patient copays at time of service.
- Collaborate with on-site physicians to coordinate Patient Care and address specific medical needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication regarding appointment details, changes, and cancellations.
- Facilitate the faxing of medical records as needed, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with patient transfers from time-to-time when needed.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining adequate medical supplies for the clinic.
- Receive and manage incoming packages and deliveries on behalf of the clinic.

What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare or medical office required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and insurance processes
required.
- Capable of exercising independent judgment and handling confidential information responsibly.
- Ability to sit at a desk working on a computer, able to prep rooms which require squatting and bending while placing floor coverings, and you must be able to assist medical staff with patients transfers.
