Responsibilities:
- As a Patient Care Coordinator at Back 2 Basics Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a seamless and positive experience throughout their dental care journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Interaction:
- Discussing treatment plans and addressing patient queries with clarity and empathy.
- Assisting patients in navigating their experience within the practice.
Administrative Tasks:
- Answering phones and managing patient inquiries.
- Scheduling appointments efficiently and coordinating with the dental team.
- Handling insurance-related tasks and other data collection as necessary.
- Accurately posting charges and collecting funds from patients.
Communication and Problem-Solving:
- Utilizing exceptional communication skills to facilitate smooth communication between patients and the dental team.
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure patient satisfaction.
Dental Terminology and Computer Skills:
- Demonstrating knowledge of dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and dental professionals.
- Comfortably navigating computer systems to input and retrieve relevant patient information.
Professional Demeanor:
- Maintaining a pleasant smile and demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in dental terminology.
- Comfort with computer systems and data management.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is preferred.
