Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Part-Time (5- 10 hours a week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our remote team to help out with Administrative and Operational Tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Adjusted based on ad hoc needs

• Scheduling patients for follow up appointments
• Reviewing patient encounters and notes
• Orders in Patient Charts & following up with APPs
• Weekly emails to physician, clinic managers, and APPs
• Partnering with Medtech representatives on patient education

Requirements:

• Detail oriented
• Very organized
• Able to manage multiple patients and clinics simultaneously
• Willing to learn specific clinics systems and tools
• Strong organization skills
• Knowledge of EHR charts
• History scheduling patients

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA (AAMA) Exam)
• Resume
• 3+ years of experience in a medical assistant role or at least 1 year of experience in a Patient Care Coordinator role

Requirements:

• Proficiency in use of technology such as Zoom, Slack, Google calendar.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and a commitment to team collaboration.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.

• Punctuality and reliability.
• Logging on during assigned shift times. Absence for over 1 day without prior notice will result in immediate termination of employment.
• Access to laptop with working microphone, camera, and reliable internet connection.

Pay: $19/ hour
