SalaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Front Office Receptionist to join our Pediatric Ophthalmology team. The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, ability to talk to the patients and multi-task in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess excellent communication skills, time management and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Check-in and check out process.
- Scheduling appointments in a pediatric ophthalmology setting
- Collecting patient balances
- Answering phones
- Upload Referrals to the Electronic medical records
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Insurance verification and maintaining documents
- Check fax folder in a timely manner
- Able to fax documents and scan/upload the incoming fax documents to patients chart(s)
- Some experience in an optical, optometry, or ophthalmology setting is preferred
Pay is commensurate with certifications, experience, and education.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
