Patient Care Coordinator
Our dental office is looking for a scheduling/treatment coordinator to join our team. We provide honest, high-quality care to our patients; and are looking for a team member who will bring a great attitude each day, strive for success with the team, and contribute positively to a quality patient experience. Having experience in the dental field, insurance verification, practice management software, or customer service are all big pluses. Main duties include scheduling patients in-person and over the phone, verifying insurance, and presenting treatment plans.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-payments
- Assist with patient registration and intake forms
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Transcribe and proofread medical documents as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with event planning and coordination as required
- Insurance and patient aging
- Billing and sending statements
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using practice management software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or office assistant is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
