Murphy's is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef. The position will work directly with Executive Chef Matt McCarthy to manage a small team and menu of in house produced items. The Sous Chef roll will be in charge of ordering and managing a production schedule of 4-5 desserts and basic bread preperations.
A Sous Chef candidate should have a strong passion for baking and collaboration. They should be a great team player and able to manage a small production team. They should have a solid knowledge of simple breads and pastry technique. They should have a hunger for development and growth within the role.
This position will be a minimum of 40 - 45 hours per week. Full availabilty on weekend mornings and afternoons are required.
