Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pantry Cook to join our team. As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling cold food items, such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will ensure that our customers receive high-quality dishes. Duties:
- Prepare and assemble cold food items, including salads, sandwiches, and desserts
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with cake decorating as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pantry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient knife skills for food preparation
- Basic baking skills for dessert preparation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
