Rigg's Outdoor Power Equipment is growing and accepting resumes for a Parts Sales Specialist in our Lafayette, IN location.
The position effectively and efficiently sells parts, helps manage parts inventory, and assists in service sales through daily in-store retail activity. In addition to selling parts and service, the position engages customers as needed for sales of new equipment. Additional duties as necessary to maintain a professional retail sales environment, promote customer satisfaction, and contribute to the team’s overall success are all part of the job in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Specifically, the Parts Sales Specialist is accountable for:
- Greeting walk-in and phone-in customers in a friendly way, professionally qualifying their parts needs, and differentiating Rigg’s from our competitors by providing excellent customer service.
- Selling parts to customers
- Selling new equipment to customer as needed
- Keeping parts inventories stocked and inventory correct in our computerized business system
- Working with the Service Supervisor on incoming work orders and customer follow-up contact
- Performing inventory audits
- Contacting customers regarding parts availability
- Maintain a clean, well organized, and stocked Parts & Service counter and Parts displays
- Other duties as necessary based on the needs of the business or customer
