Customer Service Specialist/Retail Part Sales

Job Overview

Responsible for acting as a liaison between American Cargo Group and customers. Tasks include interacting with customers over the phone, and/or via email and social media. Throughout these interactions as a Customer Service Representative, you must maintain a high level of professionalism and present American Cargo Group in the best light possible.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers.

· Responding promptly to customer inquiries.

· Communicating with customers through various channels.

· Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

· Knowing and understanding the parts and how they relate to trailers.

· Trouble shoot with retail customers on questions relating to parts.

· Ability to create sales orders in Epicor.

· Collect credit card information for your sales orders and process the transactions.

· Keep track of customer interaction through Manage Engine.

· Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, as necessary.

· Provide professional internal Customer Service support.

· Answer main phone line for the parts department.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Experience with Epicor (a plus but not required)

· Experience working with customer support

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

· Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities

· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

· Experience in cargo trailers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
