Assist with CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) duties as assigned and are often as follows:
- Ensure kitchen has all ingredients needed to carry out for the scheduled menu
- Count and verify kitchen inventory
-Order grocery supplies through Matrix
-Verify that tray tickets are accurate, printed daily and all tray items match the tickets.
- Ensure all areas are properly sanitized and prepared for the next meal/ shift
- Ensure kitchen remains prepared for health and state inspections/assist through inspection process
- Assist with personnel scheduling and managing shifts
- Perform standard kitchen duties as needed such as socking, preparing items, cooking meals, sanitizing stations and dishes, loading food carts, etc.
- Follow and enforce all standard federal, state and company procedures regarding LTC food safety and compliance
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the kitchen during CDM's absence

SafeServe certification required, CDM class and certification to be obtained through facility after a certain period of employmnet.
$14.00/hr starting pay, schedule to be discussed.

2+ years experience in LTC Dietary required or 4+ years in institutional kitchen
Must possess strong leadership and communication skills, commitment to the healthcare field, high school/GED education, basic math, literacy, and computer skills, reliable transportation and cell service, background in personnel management and/or kitchen management.
