SalaryWe are looking for an experienced individual to join our Front Desk team at Residence Inn Detroit Sterling Heights as a part time Front Desk Associate. The ideal candidate will use their engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests. While checking in guests, the Front Desk Agent is a source of knowledge regarding the hotel, its amenities, and the local area. This role serves key hours where service is extremely important, 3pm to 11pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This schedule is non-negotiable. FOSSE experience is a big plus!

- Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
- Check guests in, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
- Help to resolve problems when things aren’t quite right
- Promote and sell special hotel programs.
- Interact with other hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments when necessary
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
- Generate, Print and distribute daily and weekly reports
- Ensure the hotel procedures are followed with great attention to detail
- Communicate all pertinent information to the next Front Desk shift.
- Follow set procedures on posting, charges, and refunds; and maintain the house bank.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be able to work independently as there is minimal supervision during shift.
- Be able to work between 3 pm and 11 pm every weekend.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
