SalaryResponsibilities:
- Assist in medication administration and preparation under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Provide patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize knowledge of acute care pharmacy practices and procedures
- Maintain inventory control and assist with medication ordering and restocking
- Follow aseptic technique guidelines to ensure the safety and sterility of medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program preferred
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or acute care setting highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and routes of administration
- Familiarity with inhalation medications and critical care medications is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
