Duties:
- Perform various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management systems
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence accurately using WordPerfect
- Assist in organizing and maintaining client files
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and consistency
- Answer phone calls and provide professional phone etiquette
- Assist attorneys with legal research and preparation of legal documents
- Prepare and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for attorneys
Qualifications:
Knowledge of electronic filing with the court
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role is preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
