We are looking for a responsible Part TimeAdministrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to the plant management team by performing a broad range of administrative duties, weighing trucks in & out, answering the telephone, data entry and dispatching drivers.
The ideal candidate should have good oral and written communication skills and be dependable (i.e. on-time and able to work Monday-Friday 9 am-3 pm), able to multitask and carry out assignments as required.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Operation of truck scales
- Data Entry
- Filing
- Photocopying
- Assisting with driver qualification file requirements
- Assisting with trip report verification
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or office admin assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Experience in the recycling industry or production environment a plus
Pay: $16.00 per hour
